THE PRINCIPLE

THE PURPOSE OF USE
LRP system consists of Receiver and Programmer module and small radio-transmitters. Receiver and Programmer module (R&P) is designed for receiving remote calls from small individual radio-transmitters (RT), recognition of received signal, indication of the code ( number) of transmitting device and subsequent generation of sound. The R&P module automatically creates and modifies the data base of radio-transmitters (RT) data by their codes.

UNIT COMPONENTS
Local radio-pager (LRP) is composed of:
1) R&P module (1)
2) Small-sized radio-transmitter (SRT) (up to 100)
3) Power supply (1)

MAIN TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTIKCS
1. Radio transmitting frequency 433.9 MHz.
2. Receiving distance without re-translator (in clear view) not less than 100m.
3. Maximal amount of SRT is 100. 4. Voltage: R&P 9V 300 mA; SRT 12V (Battery type 23A).
4. Working capacity of SRT without battery recharge not less than 1 year.
5. Dimensions:

- R&P 110*75*32 (mm).
- SRT depending on the model type.

WORKING PRINCIPLES OF SMALL-SIZED RADIO-TRANSMITTER (SRT)
1. After pressing a button, SRT sends code radio-signal. The fact of transmitting is confirmed by the indication of light diode.
2. Transmitting duration is limited and is about 0, 5 sec.

WORKING PRINCIPLES OF “COLLECTION, REFELECTION OF RECEIVED INFORMATION AND ENCODING OF TRANSMITTERS” MODULE - R&P
1. Control and indication buttons are located on the front panel as shown in the figure below.
a) Indication of received signal
b) (PROG) transition of working mode (RECEIVING/ PROGRAMMING)
c) (<->) regulation of the level of sound or scanning of indicating LRP number.
d) (SAVE) recording
e) (RESET) resetting the system

2. Display indicates:
(1) levels of reception. Excellent reception - three lines appears (ˆ) on the display, normal reception– two lines (=), satisfactory reception - one line (-) respectively. When indication is absent; re-translator installation is necessary.
- (2) and (3) –numbers of the registered signals or numbers of the programming signals depending on working regime.

3. 3. R&P has two working modes: “RECEIVING” and “PROGRAMMING”.
 In each regime buttons have different functional purposes. The transition between the modes is achieved by pressing (PROG) button, which accompanied by sound signals and indication of special symbols (dashes) specific to each mode; in the “RECEIVING” mode – one sound signal and dashes in two cells of the display (- -) appear; in the “PROGRAMMING” mode two sound signal and three horizontal lines in two cells of the display (ˆ ˆ) appear ( º º ).

4. “PROGRAMMING” MODE
4.1 In “PROGRAMMING” mode R&P performs the following operations:
- selection of the registration number
- radio-signal code recording under the selected number
- deletion of the radio-signal code of the selected number or all of the previously registered codes of radio-signals
4.2 Selection of the registration number is carried out by repeated pressing of the (<->) button (during this the operation of addition “+1” is performed), figures from 0 to 99 appear on the display. Prolong pressing of (<->) button results in subtraction operation, and decrease in number of registration with indication on the display.
4.3 For recording of the radio signal code of the selected LRP number press (SAVE) button and immediately press radio-transmitter button; “] [“ symbol will appear on the display and after finishing the recording process “[ ]”symbol will appear with generation of three sound signals.
4.4 For deletion of the radio-signal code of the selected number to press (RESET) button; figure (1) will appear on the display (indicating deletion of one code) with generation of sound signal indicating completion of the process. For deletion of all registered codes of radio-signals, press (RESET) button in zero selected number; symbol “A” appears on the display (indicating the deletion of all “All” codes) with generation of sound signals indicating completion of the process.

5. “RECEIVING” MODE
5.1 In “RECEIVING” mode R&P performs the following operations:
- receives radio-signals, decodes code and compares it with the previously recorded ones in the memory. If the code is detected in the memory, R&P discerns it as a permitted, determining under which number it has been registered;
- indicates and deletes numbers of the registered signals;
- indicates the quality of receiving signals, depending on the distance of transmitter;
- generates sound signals about the presence of received radio-signal;
- may change the level of sound signal.
5.2 When radio-signals is received, registered under the numbers from 1 to 99, the appropriate number appears on the display.
5.3 When registered and indicating signals are received, the reception of all consequent permitted radio-signals is registered in the memory of R&P, but is not indicated directly, (,,) symbols appear on the display with interrupted sound signal changing signaling about the presence of hidden and not displayed information. R&P can remember up to 15 permitted radio-signals.
5.4. Even if only one registered information in the R&P, the unit generates continuous sound signals.
5.5 All the registered information in the memory of the R&P, indication on the display, as well as the level of the sound remain in the memory after turning off the power block and recover after the turning on the power block.
5.6 After pressing (RESET) button, information appeared on the display is deleted and the next one registered in the memory appears.
5.7 In the absence of the registered signal, on the display symbols (--) appear, the sound signal is switched off.
5.8 By the consecutive pressing of the (<->) button, it is possible to adjust the volume, cyclically selecting on of three values.

PREPARATION FOR WORK AND WORKING ORDER WITH THE UNIT

1. REGISTRATION OF RADIO -TRANSMITTERS (RT)
1.1 Turn on the power of the unit- plug the power cord into the electrical outlet.
1.2 Symbol (--) must appear on the display.
1.3 Convert the unit into the “PROGRAMMING” regime by pressing (PROG) button as described in 5.3. Before registration it is preferential to delete all the registered numbers in the unit (see item 5.4.4.).
1.4 Install registration number (00) (see item 5.4.2) and register radio transmitter in accordance with 5.4.3 item. Radio-transmitter with the registered number (00) performs the function of distant “Reset”, i.e. duplicates (RESET) button. After finishing the recording process, the unit is ready again to subsequent registration of radio-transmitters, on the display symbol (ˆ) must appear. After pressing the button (<->), the next registration number appears on the display, in this example (01). For registration of the next radio-transmitter, it is necessary to repeat operations in accordance with item 5.4.3 and in the same way until number 99.
1.5 If the same radio-transmitter has been registered under different numbers, only the last registration is remained in the memory, but the previous one is automatically deleted.

2. MODIFICATION AND DELETION OF THE REGISTERED NUMBERS
2.1 For the registration of new radio- transmitters, it is necessary to convert the unit into the “PROGRAMMING” regime as described in item 5.4.3; the deletion of the previously registered numbers is not necessary.
2.2 The deletion of any registered number is performed in accordance with item 5.4.4.

3. WORKING IN “RECEIVING” REGIME
3.1 Turn on the power of the unit- plug the power cord into the outlet.
3.2 Symbol (--) must appear on the display.
3.3 The unit is in “Receiving” regime.
3.4 In the presence of any permitted (registered) call, the registered number appears on the display (for example (01)) with generation of sound signal.
In the call is reset by pressing “Reset” or distant “Reset” (see item 6.1.4.), the sound signal is switched off, symbol (--) appears on the display.
3.5 When more than one permitted (registered) calls are received, the registered number of the first received call appears with commas after figures (, ,) ( for example (0,1,) with change of sound signal. When the call is reset by pressing “Reset” button or distant “Reset” the previously registered number is deleted and the next appears on the display, sound signaling is not changed. Symbol (, ,) disappears, if the indicating number is the last one from received.
3.6. The volume can be cyclically adjusted by consecutive pressing of (<->) button.
